The Companion Animal Clinic (CAC) of the Sandhills Foundation

The goal of the CAC Foundation is to reduce animal overpopulation in the Central North Carolina. We strongly believe that affordable spay and neuter will reduce the intake to animal control facilities.

What We Do!

Companion Animal Clinic Foundation (CAC) supports the Spay Neuter Veterinary Clinic (SNVC) by subsidizing the difference in the cost of operation and the service fee paid by the client.

Furthermore, individuals that cannot afford a private veterinarian will have the opportunity to practice responsible pet ownership by using the affordable service.

We need your support!

Please consider a financial donation to support the operation of the Spay/Neuter Veterinary Clinic of the Sandhills for continued committments to reducing euthanasia through spay/neuter.The average spay surgery costs $60-120, and the average neuter surgery costs $30.

You may donate any amount by mail (download the Donor Form as a PDF document) or donate online via PayPal, using your credit card or PayPal account:

Making a Difference at the Spay Neuter Veterinary Clinic of the Sandhills!!

By November 2009 over 10,000 spays and neuters will have been provided by the SNVC.

A total of 8244 spay neuter surgeries were performed from January 1, 2008 to July 31, 2009.

From January 1, 2008-July 31, 2008: 2536 spay neuters were performed.

From January 1, 2009-July 31, 2009: 3605 spay neuter surgeries were performed.

This increase in available spay/neuter has already impacted intake numbers at county Animal Control Facilities. Help us continue to address animal overpopulation through affordable spay/neuter.
