Pet Responsibility
Owning a pet is one of the most rewarding events you will ever experience!!
Adopting a pet is a long term commitment. Be sure to consider all aspects of pet ownership before your adopt.
Here are several points to consider before adopting or purchasing a dog or cat:
- Research the type of pet that best fits your life-style.
- Be sure to provide food, water, and shelter for your pet(s).
- Be sure that you can confine your pets and protect them from outside dangers.
- Spay or neuter your pet(s) as soon as they are of age to avoid unwanted offspring.
- Limit the number of pets that you own.
- Provide annual health care at your veterinarian for your pet(s).
- Provide ample exercise for your pet(s).
The Spay Neuter Veterinary Clinic provides affordable spay/neuter for dogs and cats but is happy to provide you with local veterinary health care information if you do not have a private veterinarian.
Don't hesitate to call 910 692-3499 (FIXX) if you have questions about veterinary care in central North Carolina!
